Fish Porridge

Maxwell Foodcentre Fish Porridge

This stall sells all kind of porridge such as meat, chicken, century egg and of course raw fish which is by far the most popular. Being in the heart of CBD area, long queue are expected and it usually starts to form at 10am.  But I don't like the porridge which is too stick. I prefer cantonese style porridge.

The price here is reasonable. A plate of raw fish is only $2 and 50 cents for a bowl of plain porridge

Chinatown Foodcentre Jia Jie Mei Shi

This stall is famous for its chee cheong fun (rice noodle roll) and yam cake. It has many other items like fried beehoon, dumplings etc and sell raw fish too. A big plate of raw fish with a bowl of plain porridge only cost $4.
